Bed Bugs are more common than you think! In 2013, the National Pest Management Association found that 99.6 percent of U.S. pest management companies have encountered a bed bug infestation in the past year. They can be brought into your home on infested items such as clothing, luggage, and furniture. Often public areas, such as a subway or hotel, are easy places to pick up bed bugs.
They Come Out At Night!
Bed Bugs are most active between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. so they can be challenging to find. These pests are elusive, but common signs include: welts or bites when you wake up, and finding the bugs shedded skins in your mattress or other nooks of your home such as baseboards. It’s a fact that bed bugs are on the rise in the U.S. in the last few years.
